June 28, 2017 – Media - Delaware County Sheriff Mary McFall Hopper announces the release of a new iPhone and Android mobile app as a service to all county residents. It is available free of charge in the iPhone and Google Play (Android) app stores. Search “Delaware County Pa. Sheriff”.
The new app is an innovative approach to help Delaware County citizens, businesses, and visitors to stay attuned to important news and resources from the Sheriff’s Office. Download the free app, available now, onto your smartphone to receive important alerts, notifications, and information.
The app allows the public access to vital information about all divisions of the Sheriff’s Office that handle matters including service of civil documents, the process for the monthly Sheriff’s Sale and how to apply for a License to Carry Permit.
One of the app’s key features, “Submit a Tip”, allows the public to forward anonymous information about crimes, or wanted individuals, along with photos. They can also leave their contact information if they so desire.
On the main menu of the app, you can scroll through photos of the Delco’s Most Wanted, and also View, Like, and Share Facebook and Twitter posts. Important features include:
