(PN 1288) Amends Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) further providing for fines, for weapons or implements for escape and for contraband; and making a conforming amendment. The legislation increases the maximum fines for persons convicted of certain crimes. Additionally, the offenses of delivering to a confined person, or possession by a confined person, of a weapon, implement of escape, dangerous material, controlled substance contraband, money, telecommunications devices or other contraband are defined. The legislation provides for definitions.
