Forest County Sheriff Bob Wolfgang has been commended for his assistance in the Finucan homicide investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police Troop C in Tionesta.

The letter of appreciation from Troop C stated:

“The information you provided on

recent criminal activity in Forest County

assisted our members in developing leads

and inevitably in solving the homicide

investigation.”

It further went on to state:

“Your commitment and dedication to the

residents of Forest County is commendable.”
