Utah Assistant Police Chief Dies After Suffering Brain Aneurysm During Physical Fitness Test

BRIGHAM CITY, Utah — A member of the Brigham City Police Department died Friday, one week after he suffered a brain aneurysm while participating in his annual physical fitness test.
Assistant Police Chief Dennis Vincent was at the Box Elder High School track on Oct. 18 when he collapsed while taking part in the test and was taken to the University of Utah Hospital where he remained until his death.
“Our loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin, co-worker and friend, Dennis Burt Vincent, 53, passed away, surrounded by his family, on Friday, October 26, 2018 at the University of Utah Medical Center from complications of a brain aneurism,” the Brigham City Police Department wrote in a stat…
